Our Spiritual Foundation & Church Connection
Abundant Living Bible College was birthed out of the vision of Abundant Life Church and has been part of the church’s calling for over 30 years.

ALBC operates in close partnership with Abundant Life Church, providing students not only with biblical instruction but with a living church environment where faith is practiced, discipleship happens, and ministry is experienced firsthand.
“Write the vision down. Make it plain on tablets that he who reads it may run.” Habakkuk 2:2

Students who attend Abundant Living Bible College are actively connected to Abundant Life Church. Out-of-town and out-of-state students attend Abundant Life Church services, and all students participate in local outreach opportunities, ministry events, and hands-on service through the church.

Statement of Purpose
“He has given unto us everything we need pertaining to life and godliness in the knowledge of Him." 2 Peter 1:3

Abundant Living Bible College exists to train men and women in the knowledge of the Scriptures and to equip believers to live out their faith with confidence and purpose.

Our programs are designed to lead students into a deeper understanding of who God is, who they are in Christ, and the authority they possess as believers. Through Spirit-filled instruction and practical training, students learn to navigate the Scriptures and discover the promises of God for their lives.

Abundant Living Bible College provides quality biblical instruction, academic training, and practical ministry education for men and women who desire to grow in their knowledge of God’s Word or who feel called into ministry.
Statement of Faith
The Scriptures
2 Timothy 3:16, 17
The Bible is the inspired Word of God, an infallible guide for life.
God is one, manifested in the three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each member serves in different functions, and they each possess equal power and authority.
The Fall of Man & Redemption
Romans 5:12; Ephesians 2:8
Man is a created being made in the image of God, but through Adam’s fall, sin came into the world. Salvation is God’s gift of redemption to man through faith in His son, Jesus Christ.
Eternal Life
John 3:15, 16
Jesus is the total substitutionary sacrifice. He was made sin that we might be righteous; He was made a curse that we might be made rich.
The Godhead
1 John 5:7; Genesis 1:26; Matthew 28:19
Water Baptism
Matthew 3:13-16, 28:19; John 3:22
Baptism in water is by immersion and is for believers only
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit
Acts 1:5, 2:1-4
The Holy Spirit is a gift promised to all believers accompanied by the evidence of speaking in tongues.
Divine Healing
1 Peter 2:24; James 5:14
Healing is provided through the atonement of Christ for every believer.
Great Commission
Mark 16:15; Matthew 28:19-20
Every believer is called to proclaim God’s message of freedom and liberty. We believe God has endowed us with His power, His wisdom, His love, and His anointing.
Return of Christ
1 Corinthians 15:51-53;
2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21-22
His coming is imminent. When He comes, the dead in Christ shall rise first; then, those alive and remain shall be caught up together in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Following the tribulation, He shall return to the earth with His saints, and He shall reign forever.
Statement of Final Authority for matters of Faith/Belief & Conduct
The statement of faith does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs. The Bible itself, as the inspired and infallible Word of God, speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind. The Bible is the sole and final source of all that we believe. ALC’s senior pastor and leadership are the ALBC’s final interpretive authority on the Bible’s meaning and application for faith, doctrine, practice, policy, and discipline.
Statement on Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality
We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female. These two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God. (Genesis 1:26-27) Rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person.
We believe that the term “marriage” has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture. (Genesis 2:18-25) We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other. (1 Corinthians 6:18; 7:2-5; Hebrews 13:4) We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman.
We believe that any form of sexual immorality (including adultery, fornication, homosexual behavior, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest, and use of pornography) is sinful and offensive to God. (Matthew 15:18-20; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10)
We believe that in order to preserve the function and integrity of ALBC and to provide a biblical role model to all ALBC students and the community, it is imperative that all persons in service with or in attendance at ALBC, in any capacity whether paid or as a volunteer, agree to and abide by this Statement on Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality. (Matthew 5:16; Philippians 2:14-16; 1 Thessalonians 5:22)
We believe that God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. (Acts 3:19-21; Romans 10:9-10; 1 Corinthians 6:9- 11)
We believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity. (Mark 12:28-31; Luke 6:31). Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward any individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with scripture nor the doctrines of Abundant Life Church or ALBC.
